Through the Public Allies program, I joined Alexandria House's team as their Community-Building and SUSLA Specialist. I currently work to expand upon Alexandria House's programming to promote economic opportunities to participants in the Entrepreneurship program, as well as those seeking job opportunities that will provide a livable wage. I'm also here to support our neighborhood services by helping to revise infrastructure needed for food/hygiene product distribution and providing resources and referrals to neighbors in need.
These efforts have manifested in several projects that I've overseen, including the oversight of our business classes and the management of a pop up market for entrepreneurs who have graduated from those classes. Additionally, I also work to create content for our social media channels, including a podcast.
I’ve continued my work at Alexandria House as a member of the development department, coordinating donations, volunteer engagement, and enrichment activities for the community.
